THIS IS A DIGITAL SEWING PATTERN
The Perkins Shirt Dress is a versatile sewing pattern with many options, it is an oversized silhouette with two distinct styles: Basic and Gathered. It can me made in a smaller size to make it a little more fitted by downsizing a size.
It comes with 4 different lengths: [1] cropped, [2] regular [3] tunic, and [4] dress which comes with side slits. The pattern comes with optional patch and inseam pockets. It also has a regular pointy collar or Mandarin collar option and for some extra fun, you can choose to have the back yoke with some slits and a 2 piece collar that ties at the back.
Make it in a thin fabric like a rayon for a flow-y look or opt for some thin shirting for a boxier style.
All the seams are inclosed or french seams for a perfect look inside out.
The patterns come with illustrated step by step instructions, perfect for a beginner. The pattern is an advanced beginner to intermediate level. You will learn some really fun and “magical” sewing techniques.
Print at home on Letter or A4 formats- print just your size with the layer option- or at the copy shop with our A0 file options.
ATTENTION: it has come to my attention that the sewing instructions for sewing the pockets on the Perkins shirt are missing from the PDF, so I have added the step here for anyone needing it. I will be updating the PDF as soon as I can thank you.
